This Cookie Dough Recipe For One Person Is Easy Enough To Make Every Day

I've even made a recipe for a single chocolate chip cookie before. But cookie dough is effectively a completely different dessert, and deserves its own recipe entirely. And in order to make edible cookie dough that is safe to eat , you'll have to ditch the raw eggs and flour, two ingredients that could potentially make you sick. The trick? Choose an eggless recipe and use pasteurized flour, so you won't have to worry about a thing.

What more can you ask for, really? Below is my recipe, which should only take you a few minutes to throw together. This stuff is the definition of delicious. To pasteurize the flour, microwave for 1 minute and 15 seconds. Use the "high" setting. Stir at 15 second intervals to ensure that all of the flour is heated.

In a small bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together. Add the vanilla extract and milk.

Mix well. Mix, mix, and mix some more. By now, the ingredients will start to look like beautiful cookie dough. If you're all about chilled cookie dough, stick your tasty creation in the refrigerator for 10 to 20 minutes.
