Sisters-in-Crime Spring Showcase
Fog is well-written and deftly-plotted, with enough surprising twists to keep the reader on the edge of her chair. Not only is Morgan Kendall a compelling and well-realized character in her own right, she's surrounded by an engaging supporting cast that should wear well in the series I hope will ensue. That said, Fog is not your standard "escape" novel.
The author clearly sees her charge as not simply to amuse but also to raise and explore important ethical issues - in this instance, capital punishment and the tension between reason and emotion it inevitably provokes. If serious fun in the tradition of Dorothy L. Sayers is your cup of tea, Fog will not disappoint!

I warmly recommend this book. Delightfully descriptive and entertaining way to learn about today's culture in a slice of Marin County CA. The author demonstrates insight into why people act and think as they do.

She so vividly presents the physical setting of her story I felt I could see the town, surroundings and the characters. Also it's a good mystery yarn. Tells a story how injustice is in the bedroom communities not just the big cities.
Fog : A Morgan Kendall Mystery
Too Bad there are not more who wish to expose in justice. The book is a very engrossing mystery that had me on the seat of my chair. Clues are added progressively but very gradually.
